Functions


1. To recruit, organize, develop, administer, train, maintain and utilize the JAGS Reserve

2. To complement the workforce of the Active JAGS in rendering legal service to the AFP

3. To make effective use of the JAGS Reserve Officers from both the private and government sectors who have extensive and varied legal backgrounds to assist the Active JAGS in performing its functions and duties for the AFP

4. To act as legal adviser of the DCS for RRA, J9 in the formulation of policies and review of existing Directives, SOPs, Circulars and Memorandums affecting the AFPs Reserve Force

5. To provide legal services to the military units within their respective Area of Operation (AO)
